Dr Cooze is an experienced and knowledgeable GP, with over ten years of experience working in General Practice. A native of Wales, United Kingdom, he qualified from Cardiff University Medical School in 2007 and obtained his Membership of the Royal college of General Practitioners (UK) in 2012. He subsequently emigrated to Australia and fell in love with the country, gaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GPS (FRACGP) in 2014. Dr. Cooze has worked in variety of settings across Australia, including Sydney as well as rural areas within NSW. He decided to settle in Melbourne in 2020 and has worked here since then. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but areas of special interest include Cardiology, Men's Health, Paediatrics, Chronic Disease Management and Health Promotion, as well as dealing with Acute Medical Presentations. In addition, he has a keen interest in medical education, and as such, has recently been appointed as an Honorary Tutor for Medical Students at Melbourne University. In his spare time, Dr Cooze passionately enjoys travelling and exploring new places; attending classical music events; visiting the theatre and dining out. To keep fit he enjoys long walks, swimming and attending the gym.
